As part of the URBAN NATURE festival in 2020, a mural was painted on a very prominent facade in Hannover at Küchengartenplatz in the Linden district. NASCA from Berlin and JASCHA MÜLLER aka JASH were asked for this wall. After a short consultation, both artists were able to adjust their appointments and worked together on the facade for 4 days. Check out as well the long anamorphic wall just around the corner which they created for the HOLA UTOPIA! festival in the same year.
Before things could get started, the two artists threw themselves into the design process. Because the two of them didn’t know each other until then, they had a few phone conversations to get to know each other. The specific idea for this wall was initially narrowed down based on references and sketches in various directions. The square with its name and history as a supply garden for the noble Hannover royal family, as well as the multicultural linden tree, had a strong influence on this process. – Jascha Müller
